On the first floor, lush plants spotlight Taiwanese artifacts to amplify the charm of the home. Downstairs, brick-embedded moss and ladder-dangling plastic planters recreate the alleyways outside. Together, the two floors create an ecosystem that transports diners to chef Sze’s savory, comforting memories of Taiwan.
Fun fact: We “aged” the terracotta planters in the downstairs space with limestone and sandpaper in order to mimic the wear and tear of the planters that line the streets of Taiwan.
